Composer A.R.Rahman's Live in concert in Srilanka, which was
scheduled to take place on 23rd April, has now been postponed without
any mentions about the date.
It is to note that the concert has
got oppositions from several Pro-Tamil groups, and the reason said by
the organisers was the 'Tamilnadu State Assembly Elections'.
The
official twitter account of the concert posted "We are deeply saddened
to inform you that we are forced to postpone the A R Rahman – Live in
Concert event, which was scheduled for the 23rd of April 2016 to a later
date due to the Indian Elections that are scheduled."
