The stage version of Paritchaikku Neramachu was originally
done in 1978 by the troupe UAA with Shri YGP & YGEEM in the lead
roles.
At that time it was staged more than 200 times in India and
Malaysia and Singapore. The film version was done in 1983 with Nadigar
Thilagam & Ygeem & Sujatha in the lead roles. It was a classic
cult film popular even today. UAA is proud to bring back The revival of
this classic on stage onceagain to prove the worthy of such stage shows.
In
this stage version Ygeem has done the role of Narasimhachari originally
done by YGP (Stage) and Sivaji(Cinema). Veteran stage actress Anandhi
plays the role of Veda done by Sujatha in the film and young Raghav
Balaji does the role of Varadu Kutty played originally by Ygeem (In
Stage & Cinema Version).
UAA stalwart Suppini does his
original role of Bhima Rao along with senior stage artistes Balaji and
Brinda. Play is dramatised and directed by Ygee Mahendra.
