Actor Karunas, who holds the post of Vice-president in Nadigar Sangam, has now announced to resign it very soon.
The
actor is now the MLA from Thiruvadanai constituency in Tamilnadu, and
he has decided to resign from Nadigar Sangam post, to take care of his
political career and serve the people.
He stated in a recent interview to a popular daily "As
soon as we won the Nadigar Sangam elections, the first thing we did was
to collect data pertaining to the artistes. We are trying to solve some
issues that have been pending for a long time."
"We have
also collected money that was required to raise the building for the
sangam by organising Natchathira Cricket and also through other ways.
Most of the issues have been solved now, and we are waiting for Amma to
inaugurate it."
"Now, since I am busy as an MLA, and as an actor, I might quit my post in the Nadigar Sangam in the near future."
