Actress Nanditha Das of Azhagi and Neerparavai fame was rumoured to
be making a comeback into Tamil cinema. She was said to be playing lead
opposite Samuthirakani in the upcoming movie directed by lyricist Kutti
Revathi. The film will portray the troubles faced by women.
Samuthirakani
apart from acting in the lead role, will also be producing it. This yet
to be titled film may go into floors in September, as Samuthirakani has
already alloted dates for the films like VadaChennai.
But now,
the Nandita Das has refuted this news as a rumour. She clarified on her
social media page "This is news to me! Just for the records, I am not
even in talks about this film, let alone doing it! Bizarre!"
