Entertainment, Kalpathi S. Aghoram and Director Susi Ganeshan join hands
to ride on their successful franchise ‘Thiruttuppayale’ which was super
hit film of the year 2006.
Exactly on 10th year Kalpathi S. Aghoram is doing the sequel ‘Thiruttuppayale-2’, which goes on floors this September.
National
award winning actor Bobby Simha has been chosen as ‘main lead’ and
Prasanna who was introduced by Susi Ganeshan in the film ‘Five Star’
plays as ‘Villain’. A beautiful female lead who can balance between
these two brilliant actors will be finalized soon.
With the first
part received the appreciation for its boldness, Susi says “Sometime
sequels continue on its protagonist...Sometime it is on its core idea or
concept .... TP2 rides on its concept- “I will make you to dance to my
tunes, if I hold your secrets”. This core idea drives the sequel
forward. The brand is vibrant, relevant and be evergreen for all the
time. It creates more excitement in making part 2”
As part 1 was
majorly shot in Australia, TP2 is also going to be shot in a Foreign
Island in a grand scale. Susi says, “Story demands such level of visual
grandeur and richness. At the same time, it connects with emotions of
every married woman in a simple way. Overall it will be more grandeur
than first part”.
