Jai
and Yami Gautham starrer Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum is out in
theaters. Continue reading to know, whether the film is worth a watch.
Plot:
Tamilselvan (Jai), a college dropout, moves in to Chennai in search of a job, by staying at his uncle VTV Ganesh's home.
Once
Jai's friend Santhanam, a courier boy, asks him to delvier a courier to
Khadi shop, where he meets Yami Gautham, and falls in love with her.
Jai then joins the same courier company, just because he can meet Yami
Gautham daily.
Meanwhile, Arun (Ashutosh Rana), the villain of
this movie, is a high profile doctor, who has involved in several
medical crimes, like misusing stem cell technology, which is a dangerous
and serious offence. Thambi Ramaiah who works as a wardboy in the
hospital, secretly couriers it to social activist Sathyamoorthi (Nassar)
in Chennai.
Arun on knowing about it sends a team to recover it,
before it was delivered to Sathyamoorthi. You may have guessed now, it
was indeed our hero, who is responsible for delivering that courier, and
the rest of the film shows how he saves it from the antagonists.
What's hot and What is not:
The
script of the film seems to be inspired from the hollywood film Premium
Rush, but with a local twist. The plot of the film might have looked so
good in paper, but the debuting director Premsai has missed out to
bring the magic on the screen.
Romance between Jai & Yami
looks boring, while the chasing sequences looks repetitive. We can say, a
interesting plot has been wasted with bland romances, puerile humour
and sappy songs.
