Dhanush has earlier announced that the official release date of VIP2
will be announced today at 7 PM. Dhanush has announced the date with a
new teaser.
The film will hit the screens on 11th August for the independence day weekend. Starring Dhanush as a struggling Civil Engineer, VIP also has bollywood actress Kajol in a pivotal role.
It
is to note that several other films like Magalir Mattum, Taramani,
Podhuvaaga Enmanasu Thangam, Kurangu Bommai etc are also releasing
around the same period.
